Erez Connecticut Toro

Erez Connecticut Toro: a triptych of wood, spices, and nuts is perceived in the cold draw, all of good intensity.

Once lit, the smoke is sapid in the mouth, with a slightly sweet vein. Spicy hints are also perceived in the first puffs, which disappear within a few minutes. Very intense notes of peanuts, followed by ripe fruit and nuances of cellulose, are revealed. Strength is light (1/5).

The cigar settles on the initial sapidity in the central section, fully confirming it. The aromas of balsamic herb, cellulose, and wood all have the same intensity. Strength remains light (1/5).

In the last third, the cigar remains sapid and expresses itself on notes of wood, which become very intense, and on the unchanged cellulose. Strength increases, becoming medium-light (2/5).

Overall, the Erez Connecticut Toro returns a light smoke, with well-defined aromas never overwhelmed by the strength. The evolution is somewhat lacking, which makes the smoke a bit monotonous in a Toro size. However, considering the price, it is a good compromise for those looking for an affordable and not-too-strong smoke.
