The CHC Serie E Hermoso No.2 is a cigar made in Estelí, Nicaragua, at the Tabacalera Pichardo. The blend is made of an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, a binder from Jalapa (Nicaragua), and fillers from Jalapa, Ometepe, and Pueblo Nuevo (Nicaragua). “CHC” stands for Crowned Heads Court. “Serie E” refers to Eddie Van Halen and his famous “Eruption” guitar solo that he recorded in 1978.
Four vitolas belong to the Seire E line: Petite Edmundo (4 3/8 x 52), 5150 (5 1/2 x 50), Hermoso No. 2 (6 1/8 x 48), and Sublime (6 1/2 x 54). All are sold in 20-count boxes.
The cigars are dressed up in a Maduro leaf, which is smooth to the touch. Construction is excellent, and the cigars look very appealing to the eye.
