Gurkha debuted its newest line, Pure Evil, at the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival in Broomfield, Colorado. The line was first showcased at this year’s PCA trade show.
The blend of the Pure Evil is made up of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binders and fillers. It will come in three sizes:
- Gurkha Pure Evil Robusto, 52 x 127mm (5″)
- Gurkha Pure Evil Toro, 54 x 152mm (6″)
- Gurkha Pure Evil XO, 60 x 152mm (6″)
“We found the blend while visiting the factory in Nicaragua, and we’re happy to bring back the old favorite with a new twist,” said Juan Lopez of Gurkha Cigars in a press release. Pure Evil was first introduced by Gurkha some fifteen years ago as a limited edition, but the new Pure Evil will be a regular production line with prices ranging from $8.95 to $9.95, depending on the size chosen. All sizes are sold in twenty-count boxes.
