The Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa is the newest addition to the regular production portfolio of Cavalier Genève that was introduced earlier this year in June. The name refers to the type of tobacco used as the wrapper, a Viso from Jalapa, Nicaragua. The remainder of the blend is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco, making this a Nicaraguan puro.
The cigars are sold in bright yellow boxes, and the line, including the Toro, is made up of five sizes. Production is handled by Cavalier Genève’s newly opened Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. factory in Danli, Honduras.
The wrapper is of an oily Colorado Maduro hue that has a decent amount of tooth to it. There are some small veins present. Construction is flawless, with a generous filling.

Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa Toro: the cold draw reveals notes of hay and wood. Once lit, the cigar opens with a creamy nut aroma.
Overall, the Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa Toro is a smooth smoke. It needs some time to get going flavorwise, and when it does, it reveals an enjoyable flavor profile. A good morning smoke and best smoked on a clean palate.
