The Balmoral Añejo XO Nicaragua is the newest line added to the Añejo family, which now consists of four different lines. The Añejo XO Nicaragua got its name thanks to a sun-grown Nicaraguan wrapper.
The line is made in the Dominican Republic and comes in five sizes, and they are all sold in twenty-count boxes. The FT in the Petit Robusto size stands for Flag-Tail.
The cigar is rolled in a brown Colorado Maduro-colored wrapper that is oily and smooth to the touch. Construction is average, with the filling not being uniform. The bottom half of the cigar feels underfilled and spongy.

Balmoral Añejo XO Nicaragua Petit Robusto FT: the cold draw reveals aromas of hay, wood, and spices. Once lit, the cigar opens with ample notes of wood, earth, and leather.
Overall, the Balmoral Anejo XO Nicaragua Petit Robusto FT is a solid smoke with a well outlined and balanced profile. While the evolution is minimal, the profile is broad enough to keep you engaged. Despite the cigar being underfilled in the first couple of inches, there were no burn issues present.
