Ritmo Cigars is a relatively young brand with a musical theme to its lines. Each line is named after a Latin dance: Bachata, Bolero, and Merenge.
The cigars are made at the Tabacalera Amor Puro in the Dominican Republic, Tamboril, Santiago, to be exact. Each size is sold in 20-ct boxes.
The wrapper is of a brown Colorado shade and is oily and smooth to the touch. There are only a few small veins present, and the construction is flawless.

Ritmo Merengue Toro:Â the cold draw brings aromas of hay and spices to the palate. Once lit, the cigar opens with light woody and nutty notes.
Overall, the Ritmo Merengue Toro starts with a balanced and creamy profile. But after the first third, the profile becomes static, and the increasing bitterness takes away the positive aspects of the smoke. Nevertheless, this is a cigar that, without the bitterness (some rest time in the humidor should take care of that), can be suggested to somebody who is trying to get into the world of cigars.
