The Cohiba Medio Siglo was introduced to the world in 2016 to offer, in the Cohiba portfolio, a generous and short-lasting smoke. It is sold in the 25-ct Slide Lid Boxes and 3-ct aluminum tubes.
The Medio Siglo usually comes dressed in bright Colorado Claro shaded wrappers with yellow reflections. To the touch, the leaf is quite smooth, with some small veins present. Construction and filling are great.

Cohiba Medio Siglo:Â well-marked notes of ripe fruit and honey are perceived in the cold draw, enriched by nuances reminiscent of white pepper.
The opening is played on a good balance between sapidity and bitterness. Throughout the first half, it releases well-defined notes of wood and cocoa, with hints of pepper. Strength is medium-light (2/5).
In the second half, the sapidity increases in intensity while the slight bitter note does not change. The flavor profile is still dominated by wood and cocoa, with the addition of well-defined spicy notes. Strength becomes medium (3/5).
In conclusion, the Cohiba Medio Siglo offers a simple and linear smoke, perhaps too much for those expecting something tending to the classic flavor profile of the brand. Fortunately, the small size does not become boring, which it would have if it were a larger smoke.
