Matilde Quadrata Torpedo

Matilde Quadrata Torpedo 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

The Matilde Quadrata brand is, in chronological order, the third line released by the company. The intention was to offer cigars that were more full-bodied than the Renacer (first line to be launched) but lighter than the Oscura. The Quadrata, as the name suggests, is a box-pressed product (in only three sizes: Torpedo, Toro, and Robusto).
They are sold in twenty count boxes.

Matilde Quadrata Torpedo

Matilde Quadrata Torpedo: unlit, you can perceive a mix of earth and hay. The opening brings notes of black pepper to the palate.

Matilde Quadrata Torpedo

The first third continues on earth and black pepper, with the background being particularly spicy. The strength stands at a medium-full level (4/5).

The central section continues alternating earth and black pepper, now followed by hints of herbs. Strength grows slightly, however enough, to reach a full level (4.5/5).

The last third proposes the mix of earth and black pepper. Strength remains constant (4.5/5).

Overall, the Matilde Quadrata Torpedo releases an intense and balanced smoke, although not particularly complex or evolutionary. A peppery cigar, endowed with good harmony.
