Cigar-lovers familiar with Warped Cigar’s portfolio know that owner Kyle Gellis likes to work with either of the following two factories, Aganorsa Leaf (TABSA) or El Titan de Bronze. Things will be different this Summer with the new line called Chinchalle (slang for a small cigar factory).
The Chinchalle line will be made in the Dominican Republic in collaboration with the newly opened Tabacalera La Isla. The factory is owned by Hostos Fernandez Quesada, who previously worked at Quesada Cigars and Cigar Rings.
Chinchalle will debut in a single 50 x 127mm (5″) Robusto size, but there are plans to add further sizes later in the year. The retail price will be $12.50, and the cigars will be sold in 25-ct boxes.
