J.C. Newman’s house cleaning has found a stash of 10-year-old Brickhouse cigars. With finding such a stash, Newman has decided to release the aged cigars as their 2021 TAA Exclusive. The finding of such a stash was due to the restoration project for their El Reloj Cigar Factory in Tampa, Florida. Besides the aged Brickhouse cigars, they also discovered some interesting items digging through 70 years worth of nostalgia. J.C. Newman said they found a trap door in the General Manager’s office that leads to a secret staircase into the basement. The reason for the quick getaway was for when the Tampa Mafia would come through in the 1930s. The crew was hitting up the GM for payroll cash. Another piece of history they discovered was a travel trunk that the J.C. Newman used on his voyage from Hungary to Cleveland back in 1889. So when you are smoking this year’s TAA from J.C. Newman, you are smoking some of the Newman’s history.

The Brickhouse TAA Exclusive cigars for 2021 will be three different versions. There will be the Mighty Mighty Maduro and Natural version, both in a 6 1/4 x 50 ring gauge and a Churchill Natural version in a 7 1/4 x 50 ring gauge. In the official press release, Newman stated that the Brickhouse line fans will notice the distinctive blend but will also pick up changes with the aged cigars.
