Just announced is the cancellation of the 23rd annual Habanos Festival. Since the start, this will be the first time ever that the festival has not happened. The yearly event is when distributors, retailers, collectors, and cigar enthusiasts from around the world come together in Havana. It is more than just cigars and business at the annual event. Some of the events biggest excitement happens at the Gala dinner where bidding for humidors generates money for the countries healthcare system.
Cigar enthusiasts around the world look forward to the new releases disclosed at the festival. If 2020 has shown us one thing, online may be the saving grace to losing the festival. Time will tell on what happens out of the Festival organizers.
