Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Robusto

Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Robusto: unlit, hints of hay and pepper. The opening releases notes of wood and white pepper, supported by vegetal nuances in the aftertaste.

The smoke is creamy and gives off rich notes of white pepper, with a vegetal touch in the background. There is also a floral nuance present. Then, earth and leather reach the palate, which remains well present, giving rise to a long finish. Strength is medium-full (4/5).

The central section is particularly creamy. Aromas of white pepper and brioches are perceptible. The mix of earth and leather in the background remains, enriched now with mineral nuances. Strength remains constant (4/5).

In the final third, the spicy component becomes more important and culminates in hot spices. Even the vegetal notes become more pronounced and accompany the spices with equal intensity. Strength is unchanged (4/5) and remains under control even in the finale.

Overall, the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Robusto releases a smoke with an excellent flavor intensity and a masterful balance, which does not fail from the first to the last puff. The characteristics of the Connecticut Shade wrapper are all perceptible, to which all the characteristics of an intense smoke, in true Antaño fashion, are added. This cigar has been named the third-best cigar produced in Nicaragua in 2019 (click here for more information).
