The Liga Privada 10 Aniversario was released towards the end of 2019, to commemorate the 10 years since the launch of this blend. Initially, of the many test blends produced, the No. 9 was chosen, hence the name, which gave great visibility to the Drew Estate brand. The 10 Aniversario is produced in a single size, a Toro.
It is sold in boxes of 10 pieces, the interior of which is designed to house cigars individually. Production is limited to 10,000 cigars, therefore particularly limited.
The Liga Privada have always had particular finishes that distinguish them. In this case, the head has an “ola de pescado” finish, while the foot is closed. The wrapper has a Colorado Maduro shade and the cigar is well constructed, without flaws and with an even filling.

Liga Privada 10 Aniversario: unlit, hints of cocoa. The opening reveals a spicy note, where cinnamon stands out.
In the first third, the cigar releases a mix of wood, earth and spices (cinnamon is confirmed, but a hint of nutmeg is also perceptible).
Continuing in the smoke, leather is added to the mix. The smoke is elegant and creamy, with an long finish. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).
In the final part, it continues on wood, leather and toasted notes, all enriched now by a very strong cocoa vein. The spices remain well present until the end of the smoke, where chili spices become more frequent. Strength grows slightly, however enough, to reach a medium – full level (4/5).
Overall, the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario releases a complete and satisfying smoke. The 10 Aniversario focuses more on refinement and complexity. Not as strong as the other Liga Privada branded Drew Estate cigars, it boasts a broad and very structured flavor profile. The finish is exceptional.
