Don Pepin Garcia Originale Exclusivo: unlit the aromas are well defined with an intriguing mix of hazelnut, cocoa, peanuts and ripe fruit. The opening is salty, with hot spices that enrich the perception of the smoke. After a slow start, the flavors can be defined in earth, wood and walnut. Strength is light (1/5).
In the central part, the chili spice sensation disappears, while the salty flavor remains. The flavors of earth and wood remain unchanged, with the inclusion of delicate notes of cocoa and spices. Strength increases slightly, becoming medium-light (2/5).
In the last third, the salty component is still present. The flavors, once again, do not change. Earth and wood remain unchanged, while the cocoa becomes more present. Strength becomes medium (3/5).
Despite the large size, the Don Pepin Garcia Original Exclusivo seems unable to unleash its full potential. The flavors, although great, remain the same for almost all the smoke, making the evolution almost absent. This makes the cigar, with a smoking time of almost 2 hours and a half, at times boring.
