The wrapper is of a bright Colorado shade, with red reflections. It is smooth to the touch, with small veins. Construction is more than good, which goes for the draw as well.
La Aurora 107 Belicoso: aromas of hazelnut, as well as less intense nuances of coffee and leather, on the nose.
The opening is delicately sweet, with flavors of dried fruits and wood. There are also less intense hints of leather present. Strength is light (2/5).
In the second third, the sweetness is joined by salty notes. The flavors change slightly towards wood and spices, enriched with pepper and metallic notes. Strength remains unchanged (2/5).
The last third does not present any variations, neither under the flavor profile, nor in strength, which remains constant (2/5).
Overall, La Aurora 107 Belicoso is a simple cigar, with well-defined and distinguishable flavors. The overall balance of the smoke is also good. It disappoints in evolution and in harmony. However it is a cigar that lends itself well to a smoke without too many expectations.
