Matilde Corona: unlit, light notes of wood. The opening is woody and slightly spicy.

Spicy nuances of black pepper are perceptible, which can be perceived in the background. Strength is average (3/5).

In the second third the spices become more pronounced. Strength is now slightly above medium (3,5/5).

In the last third, the spicy notes are brought to the forefront. The intensity increases and now alternates with leather, black pepper and coffee. The wood component, still perceptible, is now less perceptible than the other aromas. Strength is medium – full (4/5), giving rise to a satisfying ending.

Overall, the Matilde Renacer Corona is a cigar that sees the aromas becoming more and more outlined and the aromatic intensity gradually increase throughout the smoke, parallel to the strength. All this gives rise to a balanced smoke. The bitter note present in the second half of cigar, penalizes the rating of the cigar.
