In the first third walnut and cocoa flavors continue. Moving on ripe fruit and licorice are added. Medium bodied (3/5).
At the beginning of the second third, burnt wood and undergrowth are evident, together with a balanced salty note. In this third the mentioned tastes are joined by roasted coffee and light nutty notes. The body is slightly stronger than medium (3,5/5).
The final third features again wood, alternated with leather and white pepper. The finish boosts coffee and herbal notes. Medium bodied (3/5).
Alec Bradley Black Market Toro alternates sweet and salty flavors, without losing balance. Strong and intense aromas are present with cocoa, earth and wood. Evolution is pronounced and pleasant, sometimes surprising. The overall dynamic is flawless. Smoke is dense, heavy and rewarding. Ash is compact, falling down only after the first two thirds. The after-smoke persistency is nice, leaving woody, slightly salty tastes.
