The 67 Valentino Siesto Connecticut Toro is part of the Connecticut line and is one of the brand’s four “core lines”. You can identify the Connecticut cigars by the green ribbon on the foot and the matching color on the main band.
The Dominican brand was established ten years ago by Valentino Siesto, a former jeweler who started producing cigars in partnership with Juan Gomez, the brand’s master blender. Valentino Siesto cigars are unique in that each line has its own vitolas, and each vitola has its own blend. The Connecticut Toro is made of Dominican San Vincente tobaccos and Criollo 98 ligero for the filler, an Olor binder grown in the Dominican Republic, and an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
All cigars in the Connecticut lines are sold in 20-ct boxes.
The cigar is wrapped in a vibrant Colorado wrapper with yellow highlights. The wrapper leaf feels relatively smooth to the touch, with veins that are present but not too pronounced. Overall, the construction and filling are good.

67 Valentino Siesto Connecticut Toro: Hints of honey and dry floral notes are perceptible in the cold draw, enriched by hay nuances.
Overall, the 67 Valentino Siesto Connecticut Toro delivers a pleasant and appreciable smoke. Despite its simplicity, the flavor profile can be read without any problem, thanks also to a contained strength.
